A new activity at Sirikoi give guests the opportunity to book a few nights in our specially developed luxury mobile camp which can be set up at remote locations throughout Kenya, from the dry bush country of Samburu to the forests of the Matthews Range to the shores of Lake Turkana. You can experience the beauty, solitude and fascinating tribal cultures of these rarely visited destinations.

You can follow the migrations or the transitory elephants as they travel vast distances in large numbers. We will set up the camp, which you can join by road, plane or helicopter.

The flight through the painted valley with spectacular colours. Sliding down huge sand dunes on our tummies, landing on the shores of the hostile Lake Turkana, Willie fishing all the tilapia out of the lake! Then lunch on one of the Mathews peaks with breathtaking views, thinking these experiences couldn’t be beaten the next morning being flown around the summit of Mount Kenya which was covered in snow and landing next to Lake Michelson and catching ten rainbow trout was a truly moving experience.

All this combined with the sheer luxury and hospitality at the camp! Nothing was ever too much trouble we all felt like part of the family. Such kindness and warmth.
